Accessible Parking Enhancement

Seattle Center is working to increase accessible parking options on the campus – with a larger variety of parking spaces in several strategic locations. Please see the most recent online map for routes and parking options.

  • Theater Commons On-Site: Six accessible spaces and one accessible drop-off area are being added to the Theater Commons at the north end of the site within easy reach of the theaters to accommodate patrons.
  • Loading & Drop-off: The loading/drop-off area along Mercer St. between Intiman Theatre and the Phelps Center will continue to accommodate patrons.
  • Garage Parking: 19 new accessible parking spaces in Mercer Garage on Level C (Skybridge Level) were added last fall, adding to the existing 29 accessible spaces. 24 accessible spaces (8 for vans) in the new 5th Ave N Garage also serve the campus core.
  • Street Parking: Four on-street parking spaces on the east side of Warren Ave. N. just south of Mercer St. will be designated with new signage for exclusive 24 hour use by those with Washington State disabled placards. The spaces will offer convenience for both theater patrons and visitors to the campus.
  • On-Campus Lot Parking: Recent improvements to the School District parking lot off 5th Avenue North include new accessible pay stations and a total of six accessible spaces (five for vans) near the Harrison St. entry to the Seattle Center campus.
  • Off-Campus Lot Parking: Seattle Center is working to secure additional off-street accessible parking close to the Seattle Repertory and Intiman theatres, especially to accommodate vans.
