Each season, INTIMAN offers student matinees for selected plays appropriate for middle and high school students as well as college and university students, including an expanded schedule for the plays in The American Cycle. After each student matinee performance there is a moderated “Talk Back” session that gives students the unique opportunity to ask questions of INTIMAN artists and discuss the ideas raised in the play. Additionally, all educators are provided with a copy of InSider, our play guide, which includes a brief synopsis, information about the artists, and background on the play and its historical/literary context, principal themes and contemporary resonance.
All student matinee performances are held at the INTIMAN Playhouse at Seattle Center and begin at 10:30am. Cost is $10 for students (INTIMAN welcomes one adult free per class). Additional chaperones may purchase tickets for $10 each.
