INTIMAN Theatre accepts work from literary agents or by the recommendation of an artistic director, literary manager or dramaturg affiliated with a professional theatre. We regret that we're unable to accept unsolicited manuscripts. INTIMAN's interests include work that is adventurous in form, with an emphasis on contemporary plays, diversity, political/social content, new translations of classic work and adaptations of works of fiction and non-fiction.
INTIMAN produces from April through December, so the best submission time is from October through March. Our turnaround time is usually eight months.
